Some of you may remember that years ago I made an Arrow model. That was out of cheap clay and had a skeleton of straightened out paper clips..

This is my first go with Sculpey. His skeleton is mostly made of foil, but he has some wire attaching the head and tail. Other than the poor proportions, and the fact that he leans forward a bit, I don't think he's half bad!

For those curious, Stellar is a Sonic-style Blue Jay character, originally inspired by=burnettekd and designed by me. Since then, so many people have contributed to his visual design. I don't even know who's responsible for introducing the lilac, but whoever it was it was a good idea. ~BadShines introduced the eyebrow tufts.

Been meaning to comment your work for some time. This is very amazing! You did a fab job on Stellar and looks like a lot of work was put into this. Think I remember seeing the figure of Arrow over at Kyle's during my Virginia trip, and that looked great itself!

Keep up the excellent work!

Awesome figure, I always fail with clay so s' awesome seeing you pull it off. May've taken awhile but it was worth it.

Wow, that looks so nice! I never tried Sculpey clay. I always used air dry kind to make figurines and stuff. But still, this totally looks so professional! How long did this take you?

Awesome work! Isn't Sculpey great? I was actually considering making a model of Stellar too.

Looks great! I know these things take awhile to make, but it definitely paid off! :D
How did you get the tail to be thin though? Did you use something besides Sculpey?

I used some very thing beading wire in the tail, but not a lot. Vertainly not enough/thick enough to take credit for holding the tail up. The sculpey held up pretty well by itself!
